Armenia Is a Gateway to the 200-Million Market of the EAEU, Says Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister
Armenia is a gateway for us to the 200-million potential market of the EAEU, said Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh during the "Yerevan Dialogue 2025" event.
"Armenia is the only country in the EAEU with which we have a border. Iran is ready to provide and has always provided a corridor to the Persian Gulf. Iran is the only country that connects the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea, and these two bodies of water encompass about 70 percent of the world’s traditional energy resources, including gas and oil. This connection means that we can offer economically smart and efficient routes across the entire South Caucasus, including Armenia," added the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister.
