Millions of People are Starving in Gaza, Says WHO
Two million people are facing starvation while "tons of food are blocked at the border just a few minutes away on foot," said World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
He emphasized that the danger of famine is increasing due to the deliberate suspension of humanitarian aid in Gaza.
It is noteworthy that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will establish control over the entire Gaza Strip to prevent the humanitarian aid intended for the enclave from being looted by Hamas.
Earlier, Israel stated that it would allow a limited amount of food to be imported into the area, thereby lifting the blockade that has been in place since the conflict began.
