Strong Winds Knock Down Trees, Roof Sheet Falls
Reports from the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan indicate that today’s strong winds have caused considerable damage across several addresses in the area. Specifically, branches of trees have broken, making busy road sections impassable, and at 53/1 Babajanyan Street, the sheet metal from a residential building’s roof was torn off and fell down, causing material damage.
Specialists from the relevant sector of the district administration have promptly responded to the situation. Joint efforts from the district administration staff, the Municipal Greenery and Environmental Protection Agency, and the community have been implemented to address the issue. An official record is being prepared regarding the damage caused by the fallen roof sheet. The situation is under close control by the staff from the relevant sector of the district administration.
