The Level of Lake Sevan Has Increased
As of May 10, 2025, the level of Lake Sevan has risen by 23 centimeters compared to the beginning of the year. Levon Azizyan, the director of the Hydro meteorology and Monitoring Center, reported this on his Facebook page.
“The level of Lake Sevan continues to rise. As of May 10, 2025, the level has reached 1900.62 meters,” he wrote.
The volume of water in the lake has increased by approximately 290 million cubic meters, while the surface area has expanded by 2.18 square kilometers.
