Famine and Looting in Gaza
Eyewitnesses and humanitarian workers in Gaza have reported a sharp increase in looting within the enclave, while human rights groups warn that famine is being used as a weapon of war. This has been reported by Euronews.
The situation in the enclave has been deteriorating due to the blockade imposed by Israel more than two months ago. People, often armed, are forcibly entering warehouses and bakeries.
It is worth noting that Israeli authorities claim the restrictions and military pressure aim to force the Hamas group to release the remaining 59 hostages, 24 of whom are believed to be alive.
