Another Earthquake Recorded in Armenia
A new earthquake has been recorded in Armenia. This was reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
“On May 4, at 09:40 local time, the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.8, located 13 kilometers southeast of the city of Gavarr, at a depth of 10 kilometers,” the report states.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone was 2-3 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Yeranos and Sarukhana in the Gegharkunik region (with an intensity of 2 points).
