US State Department to Undergo Radical Changes
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has drafted an executive order that proposes a radical restructuring of the State Department. The aim of this move is to optimize functions and reduce mismanagement.
The proposal includes the elimination of several regional bureaus and the establishment of four new divisions focused on Eurasia, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Indo-Pacific region. It suggests closing the bureaus that deal with democracy and human rights, refugee and migration issues, as well as those that collaborate with international organizations.
