The Intensity of Magnetic Storms on Earth Reaches 'Very Strong' Levels
The intensity of magnetic storms on Earth has reached 'very strong' levels. This was reported by TASS, referencing the Russian Institute of Applied Geophysics.
The fluctuations in the Earth's magnetic field have currently elevated to a G4 rating, which is the second highest on a five-point scale and is considered 'very strong.' G5 is labeled 'extreme,' while G1 denotes 'weak.'
It is noted that a G4 level indicates several hours of disruptions to communication, radio transmissions, satellite operations, and radio frequency navigation on Earth.
