The Date When the Law Prohibiting Admission of Migrant Children Not Proficient in Russian Will Come Into Force Is Revealed
The new law prohibiting the admission of migrant children who are not proficient in Russian to schools will come into force on April 1. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin.
"Migrant children who do not speak Russian will not be admitted to schools. When enrolling in general education schools, it will be mandatory to check not only the level of proficiency in the Russian language but also the legality of their stay in the Russian Federation," Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.
