Iran Sends Official Response Letter to Trump
Iran has delivered an official response to U.S. President Donald Trump's letter. According to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the response was conveyed through the "appropriate channels" with the mediation of Oman. In the letter, Iran has presented its stance regarding both the current situation and the content of Trump's message.
Araghchi noted that Tehran rules out the possibility of direct negotiations with Washington as long as the "maximum pressure" policy remains in place and military threats are being voiced. The Iranian Foreign Minister added that indirect negotiations could continue as they have in the past.
