Nazeli Baghdasaryan Comments on Raids in Gyumri
If there is a criminal composition, there must be a corresponding legal response. This was stated today during an urgent press conference by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia and a candidate for the Gyumri City Council.
"I am here to assert that the votes of Gyumri residents cannot be bought; the rest is in the domain of law enforcement," she stated.
According to her, in all cases where she has information that there have been attempts to influence the will of Gyumri residents, she urged people to contact law enforcement agencies. Baghdasaryan also announced that Vardan Ghukasyan, a candidate for the mayor of Gyumri, is bullying her simply because she is a woman.
It is worth noting that the local self-government elections in Gyumri will take place on March 30. Six parties and three alliances have submitted applications to participate. There will be 82 polling stations operating in Gyumri, and a total of 112,160 residents have the right to participate in the extraordinary council election.
