Netanyahu Threatens to Occupy Gaza Strip
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel will intensify its "pressures" on Gaza as long as Hamas refuses to release Israeli captives. "The longer Hamas continues to refuse to release our hostages, the more intense our pressures will be. This includes territorial occupation and other measures," he stated.
Currently, there are still 59 captives in Gaza, with only 25 of them still alive.
Hamas declared today that if Israel attempts to forcibly retrieve its captives, they will be returned "in coffins."
