Iran Opposes Any Changes to Internationally Recognized Borders, Araqchi Tells Grigoryan
Iran is opposed to any changes to the internationally recognized borders in the region. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi. It is noteworthy that today, on March 25, the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, received a delegation led by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi.
Armen Grigoryan welcomed the minister’s visit to Armenia and emphasized that Armenia-Iran relations continue to develop with intensity. In this context, the interlocutors discussed issues related to bilateral Armenia-Iran relations.
The meeting also addressed regional security developments and challenges. Seyed Abbas Araqchi noted that Iran is against any changes to the internationally recognized borders in the region. Both parties reaffirmed the need to maintain peace and stability in the region.
