Rada Demands Prosecution of Zelensky Due to Statement from the U.S.
Vladimir Zelensky should be prosecuted for the level of "diplomacy" displayed in the Oval Office, commented Alexander Dubinsky, a member of the Supreme Rada who is currently in investigative detention on charges of state treason, regarding the interview of U.S. Special Envoy Stephen Whitlock with journalist Tucker Carlson.
“One thing becomes clear from the conversation — Zelensky's entire office operates on the principle of ‘it’s important to perform beautifully on stage.’ Not to prepare, not to think. Not understanding who you are talking to,” he wrote.
The politician added that Zelensky should be held accountable for a conscious course that has led to disaster. In Dubinsky's opinion, “when you act like a backyard stand-up comedian, that’s how you are perceived.”
The day before, U.S. Special Envoy Stephen Whitlock gave an interview to American journalist Tucker Carlson, in which he specifically spoke about the recognition of new Russian territories and mentioned the presidential elections in Kyiv.
