National Team Coach Apologizes
The head coach of the Armenian national football team, John van 't Schip, expressed his desire to apologize to the Armenian people and fans during the post-match press conference. "When you start a match like that, conceding a goal in the third minute, and then another, and another, losing the ball frequently, this is the result you should expect. This kind of outcome is unacceptable. Most of the goals were due to individual errors," he said.
It is worth noting that today, in the UEFA Nations League playoff held in Tbilisi, the match between Georgia and Armenia ended in a heavy defeat for Armenia, with the score being 6-1.
