Zelensky Calls for Increased Pressure on Putin from China
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on China to increase pressure on Russia and President Vladimir Putin. He made these remarks in an interview with Fox News.
Zelensky stated that this pressure is necessary to facilitate an agreement and to secure broader security guarantees. “I believe that Europe’s guarantees alone will never be enough. Europeans understand that without the U.S. security guarantees under President Trump, Europe alone will not suffice. Putin does not fear Europe. Unfortunately, that is the case,” he said.
