U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he intends to make a decision regarding the fate of the TikTok social media platform in the next 30 days. This was reported by TASS.

“Many important people are discussing the acquisition of TikTok with me. I will make a decision, probably within the next 30 days. I have 90 days for that, and I think we can save TikTok—that would be good,” the President said.

Trump emphasized that he has the right to sell or shut down the social network, depending on what is best for the country. On January 19, TikTok was blocked in the U.S. by a decision of former President Joe Biden. However, the social network resumed operations 12 hours later following Trump’s promise.
