Taxi Drivers Fined in Parking Lots: Response from the Minister of Internal Affairs

Many taxi drivers have approached Auroranews, reporting that they are being fined by both police officers and surveillance cameras while parking in designated taxi parking lots in Yerevan. To gain a clearer picture of this issue, Auroranews directed a question to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Saroyan, during a press conference summarizing the year 2024.

It is also worth noting that Auroranews will contact the Yerevan Municipality to clarify how the regulations for parking taxis are actually enforced. Taking into account Minister Saroyan's comments, we will also reach out to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to find out which department taxi drivers who have already received fines should contact to annul those fines.
