Fraudulent Money Scams: Prosecutor's Office Issues Warning
The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia has issued a warning regarding fraudulent schemes circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook and Telegram. These scams include offers like 'Exchange money at fantastic rates' and 'High exchange rate for converting Armenian Dram to Russian Rubles.' Many citizens have fallen victim to these deceptive advertisements.
According to the statement released by the Prosecutor's Office, individuals responding to these offers have had their money taken deceitfully at various commercial centers.
In order to avoid becoming victims of crime, the Prosecutor's Office advises citizens to conduct currency exchanges legally through companies that specialize in such services.
