What Methods Are Available to Pay with the Unified Ticketing System
During the operational meeting of the Yerevan City Hall, the payment methods for the unified ticketing system were discussed. It was noted that payment can be made in four ways: through a transportation card, using a QR code, via a mobile application, and with a bank card.
It was also mentioned that citizens in privileged groups can approach either the community administration or TellCell company offices to complete their identification. According to Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan, “We have a significant flow of citizens in the administrative districts coming to formalize their privileged status. The same process is also carried out at TellCell offices and through their website.”
If an individual does not have a privileged status, it is possible to obtain a transportation card from the self-service terminals in the metro, and starting tomorrow, these cards can also be purchased with the assistance of an employee at the metro ticket counters.
