Moscow Will Closely Monitor the Consequences of These Actions: Peskov
The state corporation 'Rosatom' will continue its international activities as it is one of the leaders in the field of atomic energy. This statement was made by Dmitry Peskov, the official representative of the Kremlin, while commenting on new anti-Russian sanctions related to this sector.
‘We proceed from the fact that Rosatom will continue its international operations. It is undoubtedly one of the leaders in the international atomic market. It has many technological advantages,’ Peskov said.
In his opinion, the Biden administration will try until the last day to undermine the positions of Russian companies, leaving the worst legacy possible.
Moscow will closely monitor the consequences of these actions, the Kremlin representative added.
On January 10, the United States imposed sanctions against nearly 100 vessels involved in the transportation of hydrocarbons from Russia. More than 30 Russian oil servicing companies have been restricted under the new sanctions.
