Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, has announced that the strategic comprehensive cooperation agreement between Iran and Russia consists of 47 articles and covers all aspects of bilateral relations. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"The agreement includes an introductory section and 47 articles. If implemented, it will significantly enhance the level of cooperation between our countries in all areas," Jalali stated.
Earlier, Russia and Iran had agreed on the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
It is noteworthy that in December of last year, in Moscow, Ambassador Kazem Jalali had mentioned that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian would visit the Russian capital on January 17 and during his visit, he would sign an agreement that would replace the previously existing document on the foundations of bilateral relations and cooperation principles that was signed back in 2001 in Moscow.
