If They Had Read Carefully, They Would Have Noticed It: Deputy Mayor of Yerevan
The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Suren Grigoryan, has commented on the validity period of transport QR codes, which has been reduced by the council's decision to 3 days. "Single tickets are valid for 3 days after purchase, and it is not expected that they should be long-term for a single trip," he stated.
According to the deputy mayor, it is possible to purchase new ticket packages and use them for a longer period. He noted that it is the opposition members of the Yerevan council who are surprised about this issue, when it has been a decision of the council. "If they had read, they could have seen that," he remarked.
The option of 100 drams for transportation was left for a transitional period until February 1. After February 1, this issue will no longer exist. On that day, it is expected that people should have long-term ticket products," he added.
