Deputy Mayor Discusses termination and Rehiring of Drivers
During a press conference, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan addressed discussions regarding the rehiring of drivers who resigned from their duties at the end of the year after being terminated.
"It's not that we haven't accepted anyone back; some drivers have come to explain that they were not initiators and participated based on the principle of solidarity. There have been cases of accepting such individuals back, but they are quite rare. Most of those who were dismissed have not been reinstated. There are also instances where drivers are terminated due to the improper execution of their duties, and conversely, there are cases where proper performance of work duties is rewarded," Suren Grigoryan noted.
It should be recalled that on December 3, public transport drivers went on strike, resulting in the dismissal of several drivers.
