Trump on Negotiations with Putin
US President-elect Donald Trump has stated that he would like to hold negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and admitted that this could happen within the first six months after he assumes office. This was reported by TASS.
"I hope to negotiate during the last six months," he said in response to a question from reporters about the possibility of holding talks with Putin in the first three to six months after taking office as President of the United States. He also expressed hope to resolve the conflict in Ukraine within the first six months of his administration.
It should be noted that the politician had previously mentioned he would halt the war in Ukraine within the first 24 hours of assuming the presidency.
