Law Enforcement Sends Inquiry to the U.S. in Controversial 1 Ton Cocaine Case

The "Zhoghavor" newspaper reports that law enforcement agencies continue to send inquiries to various countries regarding the mysterious arrival of 1 ton of cocaine in Armenia.

According to information received by the newspaper, Armenian law enforcement has also sent a request for legal assistance to the United States. The detention period for those arrested in the criminal case has expired, and all the detainees in this high-profile case have been released.

Moreover, the one-year period for disclosure has also expired, yet the preliminary investigation continues. A year ago, the National Security Service had sent letters to several European countries concerning the origin and circulation of the cocaine within the framework of the investigation, but no answers have been received, or the responses have not been satisfactory.

It should be noted that those arrested in this case were employees of a company belonging to former parliament member Mihran Poghosyan, one of whom is a woman.
