Resignations at the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Arpine Sargsyan, has issued a directive leading to the dismissal of several officials. The Deputy Director of the Emergency Situations Service, Colonel Egor Karapetyan, Deputy Director of the Emergency Situations Service, Colonel David Sargsyan, and the Head of the Community Police Division of the Ashtarak Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Sergey Martirosyan, have all been relieved of their duties.
According to information from 'Haykakan Zhamanak', these officials were dismissed at their own request. Furthermore, in other directives issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vardan Matevosyan has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service, while Mariam Gevorgyan, Irina Davtyan, and Tigran Mkrtchyan have been reappointed to the positions of Deputy Heads of the Migration and Citizenship Service.
