Turkey Ready to Support Syria, Says Foreign Minister
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during the opening of the annual conference of the Republic's ambassadors abroad in Ankara, stated that Turkey is ready to support Syria during its transitional period.
“A new era has begun in Syria. Now it is necessary to focus on the future and not look back. In this new phase, we want to see a Syria where different ethnic and religious groups live peacefully, utilizing an inclusive governance approach. We want to see a new Syria that has good relations with its neighbors and contributes to peace and stability in our region. We are prepared to provide the necessary support for this. We believe that the Syrian people will also benefit from this golden opportunity,” Fidan said.
