Explosion in Apartment: Fire Breaks Out

On November 14, at 11:43 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk regional rescue service received a call about a fire breaking out in one of the apartments in the 8th district of Charentsavan.

Two fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene along with an aerial ladder.

It was revealed that there was a gas leak from gas cylinders in the apartment, which ignited and caused an explosion. A wall of the apartment, approximately 12 square meters, collapsed, but there were no injuries reported.

The fire was contained by 11:52 AM and extinguished by 11:54 AM. Household items were burned.
