Number of Turkish Citizens Visiting Armenia in 9 Months
During the period from January to September 2024, 9,810 Turkish citizens visited Armenia. According to data published by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, only 9,620 of them left Armenia during the same period, reports Faktinfo.
In the same timeframe, 37,642 citizens from India visited Armenia, while 42,502 left the country. Notably, the highest number of visitors to Armenia in the first nine months of this year came from Russia, with more than 1 million 89 thousand individuals, of whom more than 1 million 79 thousand left the country during the same period.
Additionally, 42,483 citizens from Ukraine visited Armenia, but the number of those who left the country exceeded that figure at 43,314.
Georgia ranks second in the number of foreign citizens visiting Armenia, with 296,941 visitors from Georgia in the first three quarters of this year, among whom 292,237 left Armenia.
Iranian citizens take the third spot, with 159,118 individuals visiting Armenia this year, and 158,828 of them leaving during the same timeframe.
From the United States, 59,963 citizens visited Armenia in the first 9 months of this year, with 57,834 departing.
