Israeli Strike Destroys Bridge Connecting Two Major Lebanese Regions
Israeli fighter jets have struck the bridge in the Jebel Akroum mountainous area, which connects the northern Akkar and Hermel regions of Lebanon bordering Syria. This information was reported by the El Nashra news portal.
According to the source, the airstrike targeted settlements near border crossing points in neighboring Syria. The portal indicates that these areas serve as strongholds for the Iran-backed Shiite organization, Hezbollah.
El Nashra notes that as a result of the attack, the bridge has been destroyed, transportation links between the regions have been disrupted, and delivering humanitarian aid to northeastern Lebanon has become a challenge.
