Apparently, They Are Unnecessary People - Zakharova
The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, has allowed 60 citizens of the country to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Czech Radio, referencing the country’s leader's press secretary, Filip Platos.
In total, more than 180 Czechs have applied to the president to join the Ukrainian armed forces, according to ТАСС. It is unknown how many requests have been rejected.
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, expressed her opinion that the President of the Czech Republic “does not need his citizens.”
“Apparently, these 60 people are unnecessary from the perspective of the Czech Republic,” the diplomat said at a briefing.
