Zelensky Indicates When Negotiations Will Begin
Andrey Yermak, the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, stated in an interview with Corriere della Sera that to negotiate a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, it is essential to return to the borders of 2022.
“To start negotiations, we must revert to the situation that existed previously—two years ago at four in the morning when the first shots were heard. Only then will we discuss how to restore our sovereignty, the borders of 1991,” he said.
Yermak emphasized that Zelensky has never expressed a willingness to make territorial compromises, but is ready to negotiate based on the situation that existed before the special operation in Ukraine.
