We Will Respond with Full Force to Israel: Reactions from Iran
Iran will respond with all its strength to Israel's attack. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The Iranian Air Defense Headquarters responded to Israel's strikes: “Despite the previous warnings from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the criminal and illegal Zionist regime to refrain from any adventurism, this false regime attacked military centers in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces this morning during a tense situation. In addition to successfully monitoring and countering this operation by the country's integrated air defense system, limited damage was caused to some locations. Information regarding the scale of the incident is currently under discussion.”
The Iranian military also issued a statement regarding casualties: “The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran sacrificed two of its soldiers last evening fighting against the shells of the criminal Zionist regime to protect Iran's security and to avert harm to the Iranian nation and its interests.”
Iranian sources have denied Israel's claim of striking 20 locations in Iran. The claim by the Israeli army that it hit 20 targets throughout Iran does not correspond to reality, a source informed Tasnim, noting that the number of targeted sites by the enemy is significantly lower than stated. The source added that the operations conducted by Israeli forces occurred outside Iranian borders and caused limited damage. The source also confirmed that none of the military centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps located in Tehran were attacked.
