Azerbaijan Occupies Inner Hand Cemetery, Establishes New Burial Site: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' reports that cultural expert Haykuhi Muradyan states that the President of Azerbaijan is personally overseeing the appropriation of Armenian cultural and spiritual heritage in Artsakh. The Azerbaijanis have two main targets: the statues of our heroes, the memorials to the victims of the genocide, the commemoration sites for those who fell in the first war for independence, and Armenian cemeteries, especially medieval ones that bear witness to the long-standing presence of Armenians in the region.
As you may recall, the enemy has also occupied the cemetery in the village of Inner Hand in Syunik, preventing people not only from visiting the graves of their deceased loved ones but also from burying the dead. Yesterday, the news outlet learned that a new cemetery has been established in Inner Hand, where at least one burial has already taken place.
