Turkey Submits Application to Join BRICS
Turkey has submitted an application to join BRICS. This was reported by Bloomberg. Earlier, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had referred to BRICS membership as a "good alternative" to the European Union, to which Turkey submitted its application back in 1987.
