The Situation is Complex: CSTO Chief of Staff

The situation remains complex in the South Caucasus, where the West seeks to increase its influence. This was stated during a press briefing by Andrey Serdyukov, Chief of the Unified Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

'The situation in the Caucasus region is no less complex. Of particular concern is the high level of conflicts, primarily due to unresolved territorial issues and the West's desire to increase its influence in the South Caucasus,' Serdyukov said.
