“Any discussion on this issue becomes irrelevant,” Lavrov
The Russian Federation's willingness to engage in peace negotiations with Ukraine should not raise any doubts in anyone's mind; however, Kyiv's "adventurism" in the Kursk region has nullified this topic. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press conference following talks with Senegal's Foreign Minister Yasin Fali.
“We always remember that Putin once again put forward a peace initiative in June after the regimen in Kyiv, along with its Western sponsors, destroyed and sabotaged our willingness. This raises doubts, although, of course, after the incident in the Kursk region, any discussion on this issue becomes irrelevant,” the minister noted.
