What Zelensky's Intentions Speak Of: Reuters
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's intention to present a plan for ending the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to U.S. President Joe Biden this autumn indicates that Kyiv views the next peace summit as a platform for dialogue with Russian representatives. This was reported by Reuters.
“His statements suggested that he considers the upcoming international summit on peace issues to be a major potential forum for negotiations, in which, according to Ukraine, he would like to see representatives from Russia,” the text states.
Previously, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Kyiv is inviting Moscow to participate in the second “peace summit” because, in its absence, some states might decline to attend the event.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had stated he is preparing to present a plan to the U.S. regarding how he intends to end the war with Russia. He mentioned that he plans to present this plan to both President Joe Biden and presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
