Zelensky Requests Permission from Allies to Use Long-Range Weapons
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has requested permission from Ukraine's allies to use long-range weapons to strike targets deep within Russia. "To halt the advancement of the Russian army on the front lines, Ukraine needs just one decision from its partners—a decision regarding long-range capabilities," Zelensky stated while addressing Ukrainian diplomats.
Ukraine's allies have imposed restrictions on the use of weapons due to concerns that it could escalate the war. Zelensky also informed the diplomats that Ukrainian forces have taken control of 92 settlements in Russia's Kursk region and are now controlling over 1,250 square kilometers of enemy territory.
