7.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Kamchatka, Russia
A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck near the shores of Kamchatka, located 108 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, as reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The tremor occurred at a depth of six kilometers. Following this, a second earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude occurred 116 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
