It Will Take 10 Years to Clear Rubble in Gaza, Borrell
The humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip has reached unprecedented levels, with over 40,000 people killed, and it will take 10 years to clear the rubble. This was reported by Josep Borrell, the head of the EU's foreign policy, as he arrived at the meeting of EU foreign ministers.
“In Gaza, we are witnessing an unprecedented scale of man-made humanitarian disaster; 70,000 children have been orphaned, and more than 40,000 people have died. It will take 10 years just to clear the rubble for the reconstruction of Gaza,” Borrell stated.
