The US on Cooperation with Armenia
Washington hopes to strengthen cooperation with Armenia, said Uzra Zeya, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civil Security, Democracy, and Human Rights.
“We hope to strengthen coordination with the Armenian government and civil society partners to promote democratic governance of the law, fight corruption, and reform the judicial system,” Zeya wrote on social media platform X.
The U.S. Embassy announced on July 10 that Zeya will be in Armenia until July 16. The diplomatic mission stated that she will have meetings with senior government officials and will discuss ways to enhance Armenian-American cooperation.
