New Wave of Mass Protests Erupts in Israel

A new wave of mass protests has erupted in Israel, with demonstrators demanding the immediate release of hostages held by Palestinian radicals in Gaza and calling for early elections in Israel. The largest rally has begun in Tel Aviv in the vicinity of government buildings located in the eastern part of the city.

Many participants in the rally held photographs of the hostages remaining in Gaza.
