Artsakh Information Headquarters Responds to Statements from National Assembly
In recent days, statements regarding the causes of the depopulation of the Republic of Artsakh have been frequently heard from the circles of the Armenian government, including from the podium of the National Assembly. These statements contain theses that are far removed from reality. This was stated in a release by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
"The authorities of Artsakh deem it necessary to emphasize that the consequences of these statements will fall upon those figures, including in the context of the country's security, as public speeches also imply the need for a counter-statement, which must be duly calculated. Prioritizing the security issues of Armenia, after the forced relocation, the authorities of Artsakh have been demonstrating restraint for a significant time, refraining from public statements. However, in light of the recent spread of falsehoods, it is necessary to respond so that the Armenian people know the truth.
Regarding the disobedience action that took place on June 12 on Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, the Artsakh authorities urge the police to assess the situation calmly, refrain from using disproportionate force, and call on all parties to show restraint."
