The Lecturer Sued the Agrarian University: "Hraparak"
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Haik Ghazaryan, a lecturer at the Armenian National Agrarian University, has filed a lawsuit with the First Instance General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan demanding the annulment of the results of the competition for the head of the Department of Water and Soil Resource Management.
On June 1, 2023, the scientific council of the university selected Gurgen Eghiazaryan as the head of the department from two candidates (Haik Ghazaryan, Gurgen Eghiazaryan) who participated in the competition. Eghiazaryan has been a member of the Board of Trustees for many years and has consistently supported the former rector Vardan Uruytan and the current acting rector Hrachya Zakoyan with his votes.
The plaintiff disagrees with the election results and has evidence of external influence on the process.
