Brent Oil Price Stabilizes at $81.5 per Barrel
On Tuesday morning, the price of oil has stabilized following a decline the previous day. The price of Brent crude oil for August futures reached $81.54 per barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange, which is a decrease of $0.09 (0.11%) compared to the closing price of the previous auction. On Monday, these contracts had increased by $2.01 (2.5%) to $81.63 per barrel.
Meanwhile, WTI July futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.02 (0.03%) to $77.72 per barrel. According to the results of previous auctions, these contracts had risen by $2.21 (2.9%) to $77.74 per barrel.
