HAIL DAMAGES COCKPIT OF AUSTRIAN AIRLINES PLANE

An Austrian Airlines plane encountered severe hail during its landing in Vienna but managed to land safely despite the damage. This was reported by the Kronen Zeitung newspaper's website.

Pictures shared on social media show that the hail damaged the cockpit windows and the front part of the aircraft. The pilots were able to make a successful landing without any injuries, the portal reports.

The Austrian Airlines Airbus A320 was flying from Mallorca to Vienna. Half an hour before landing, it encountered turbulence and hail.
