Disagreements Within NATO: Bloomberg
Due to disagreements within NATO, Secretary General Stoltenberg has abandoned ambitious plans to create a €100 billion fund for assistance to Kyiv, Bloomberg reports.
Citing sources, the publication writes that participating countries did not support this idea. The new proposal is for allies to collectively spend around $40 billion annually on military aid to Ukraine.
Turkey has urged allies to be cautious not to create the impression of greater involvement of the alliance in the conflict in any assistance scheme, the report states.
