In the case against the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Mikayel Arzumanyan, the Anti-Corruption Court has sent a notice this time to Serob Bazikyan, the deputy commander of the 'Yeghnikler' military unit. After questioning the commander of the 'Yeghnikler' unit, Artsakh hero Karen Jalavian, it is now his turn.
This was reported by the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd'. It should be noted that the case is being heard in a closed courtroom.
Recall that Mikayel Arzumanyan, the commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, is accused of displaying negligent behavior towards his official duties during the period from October 30 to November 9, 2020, in organizing the defense of the city of Shushi and its surrounding areas. As a result, according to the investigation committee, the armed forces of the opponent took complete control over the city of Shushi and its outskirts, resulting in casualties and injuries among the Armenian units.
